$20,000 Available For NFP Professionals

Leading provider of software solutions and support to the not-for-profit sector Advanced Solutions International has launched the ASI ‘SMART Company’ Scholarship Fund to provide up to $20,000 annually in training and education opportunities for people working in the not-for-profit sector across Australia and New Zealand.

As part of its “Learn, Share, Grow” philosophy ASI is offering financial assistance of up to $2,000 per grant in full and part funding on a menu of options including fundraising training, CEO development and a Graduate Certificate in Philanthropy and Non Profit Studies. There are also grantsĀ (open funding) to attend conferences and other training opportunities. Study must be directly relevant to individuals’ work in the NFP sector.

“We’ve adopted ‘learn, share, grow’ as our values, says ASI Managing Director Paul Ramsbottom. “This is a practical way of living those values. We want to support NFPs to become smarter and more effective.”

Paul Ramsbottom has been involved in the not-for-profit industry since the Liquid Paper and file card era. ASI has 40 staff and more than 440 customers from the NFP, charity and association sectors including: CPA Australia, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Caritas Australia, The Cancer Council Victoria, Australian Medical Association, Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. They use ASI’s flagship software iMIS to manage membership communications, fundraising, events, payments, reporting and website content.
