The Fund received a solid number of applications requesting approximately $15,000 in funding in the September round.  It was a very competitive round and the applications were yet again of an outstanding quality.    A total of seven Scholarships were awarded with a total value of just over $6,000.  Approximately $4,000 will be made available for the remaining December round in 2009.
