About the Fund
The ASI ‘SMART Company’ Scholarship Fund was established to encourage the professional education of individuals working in the not-for-profit sector.
ASI is the leading provider of software solutions to the not-for-profit sector. ASI’s flagship product, iMIS, provides the only membership, fundraising and website management solution in one upgradeable software suite.
The ASI ‘SMART Company’ Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships and education subsidies up to $25,000 per year (up to $2,000 per individual). The study that the applicant intends undertaking must be directly relevant to professional education in the not-for-profit sector.
In order to be eligible to receive scholarships, applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or have permanent residency status and be full time or permanent part time employees. For selected scholarships, applicants must be full time or permanent part time employees of organisations that are ASI customers who are current with their annual Software Update Plan at the time of application closing date.
Applications are reviewed quarterly (March, June, September and December) by the Review Panel. Applications can be lodged at any time and should include written evidence from their employer stating the employer’s support for the application. Applicants awarded a Scholarship in a previous round are welcome to apply for funding again. Unsuccessful applicants from previous rounds are encouraged to apply again.
All successful applicants will be required to submit a 300-word report describing what they learnt from the program to ASI no later than four weeks after program completion.
ASI ‘SMART Company’ Scholarship Funds are available in three program parts:
- Part A – Fully Funded Education Scholarships
- Part B – Education Subsidies for ASI Customers
- Part C – Education Grants for ASI Customers
